Illuminated Splashbacks

If you are looking for something different in your kitchen then a LiteTile illuminated splashback gives you the opportunity of combining excellent task lighting with a decorative feature in your kitchen.  Each LiteTile splashback is made specifically to meet your requirements.  A single unit can be made up to 3m long and 1.5m high and is only 20mm thick.

There are two versions of LiteTile available – either with colour-changing LEDs or with single colour LEDs.  Single colour LEDs available are white, blue, red, green or amber.  The white LEDs are available in 8 different colour temperatures, ranging from 2400K to 8000K.  

A small, easy to use remote control unit is supplied with every colour-changing LiteTile installation.  If you require more control of the LEDs alternative control units are available – please contact us to discuss your colour requirements.  The colour can even be matched to the colour scheme in your kitchen!

LiteTile splashbacks are designed to using the best LED and edge-lighting products available.  We use a special light enhancing acrylic called Prismex which, when edgelit with the high output LEDs, spreads the light evenly across the whole of the splashback.  This is then mounted behind low iron sandblasted toughened glass in order to backlight the glass.  We use low iron sandblasted glass so you won't get the green tint that can appear from ordinary glass panels.  

All our low iron glass is toughened, sandblasted and Ritec coated.

Our LEDs are made as bespoke units in increments of 50mm.  These are then mounted within a heat sink and resin filled to IP-67 rating, making them fully waterproof.  The minimum expected lifespan of the LEDs is 50,000 hours.

LiteTile is easy to clean and cheap to run.  Cleaning is simply a wipe with a soft damp cloth and the energy-efficient LEDs mean that not only are you illuminating your kitchen with a unique and versatile product but you are saving money as well.

Installation 

There are three ways installation of LiteTile illuminated splashbacks can be carried out:

Option 1: If you are a competent person with regards to DIY, then you can install the unit yourself.  Full installation instructions come with the LiteTile.

Option 2: Your kitchen installer can install the LiteTile for you.

Option 3: You can use our fully trained installation team.
